Food Hygiene

The Level 2 Award in Food Safety is developed to provide basic food knowledge and safety to those who work in catering industry, in order to meet the legal basic of food safety requirements and to improve and minimise risk of contamination.

Under the UK legislation anyone who is required to handle food in their job must have received suitable training that is relevant to their work. This course covers understanding of: food safety which is personal responsibility of an individual (which includes a responsibility of handlers, introduction and food business operators).
